Barbie World

Barbie World is a collection of four original pieces created through an art workshop I facilitated with a local painter in Lampang Thailand. We wanted to create a piece of resistance. A fun collection to celebrate friendship and to make a gentle political statement. Borders are spaces of great contention, trafficking, violence, and control. We wanted to break down borders working bilingually and collaborating on the concept. Please enjoy the story of this collection in English and Thai. Keeps is my first international exhibition.

​In 2007, two teenage girls from opposite sides of the world met.

It was an instant connection.

Seventeen years later, Varisa and Patricia reunited for the first time—this time as women, as artists, and as friends.

The Barbie World collection is our creative celebration of friendship, femininity, and the beauty of a world we shape together.

It honors the global uprising that continues to elevate women’s voices, stories, and power.

Through bold color and shared vision, this art reminds us:

True friendship transcends time, distance, and borders.

Collection Barbie World เป็นการเฉลิมฉลองมิตรภาพ ความเป็นผู้หญิง และความงามของโลกที่เราร่วมกันสร้างขึ้นอย่างสร้างสรรค์

Collection นี้เป็นการยกย่องลุกขึ้นฮือทั่วโลกในการส่งเสริมการส่งเสียง เรื่องราว และอำนาจของผู้หญิง
